North Wind Sound Art Festival

Icelandic music and landscape are well-known world-wide. North Wind Sound Art Residency Program aims at providing excellent opportunity for the international sound artists who are eager to be inspired by raw nature, as well as exchange idea and collaboration with Icelandic musicians. This 2-month artist residency program allows artists having enough time for a series art creation and a performing tour in North. The performance tour can be extended to the south Iceland.

    • Pilgrimage of Sound Art

    • Press release

  3. 5 Sept. – 25 Oct. 2016: Residency in Listhus, in Olafsfjordur

    • Creating inspired by the unique landscape and environment

    • Establish an intimacy relationship with locals through workshop and public engagement program

    • Jam and forum session with local artists. Akureyri artists will join together.

  4. 20-30.10.2016: North Wind Sound Art Festival in Akureyri
