In his photography, Sigurður Mar combines old and new techinque. He uses digital camera but builds his own lenses. Partly 3D printed and partly recycled broken lenses of various kinds. The lenses are monocles, only have one piece of glass. This creates mood from the very beginnig of photography withaout any editing. He prints his images on various kinds of material that he prepaires with layers of paint and engraves with a laser cutter.
