Jennifer comes from a small gold mining town in remote Northwestern Ontario, Canada. Her work strives to portray life in Northern climates – the bonds, labor, solitude and honor of small communities. She is currently in residency at Listhús and hopes to capture an honest and heartfelt representation of life in Ólafsfjörður.
Jennifer Globush will have your portrait photographed. Each photograph will later be transformed into a large scale portrait drawing by the artist in her Northern Canada studio.
Each photo will take less than 1 minute. Please wear a Lopi sweater or traditional work attire. Adults and children over 16 only. Volunteer/no cost.
